Making a report

We take our Community Code of Conduct very seriously and will take action against those we deem to have breached it, from warnings, to mutes, to permanent bans, at our discretion.

If you believe a community member has broken our Code of Conduct, there are many ways to reach out and bring the matter to our attention across all community platforms.

Before you submit a report, ensure you have as much clear evidence as possible. This can include:

  • Unedited screenshots (aka not clipped but shows as much of the conversation as reasonable)
  • Unedited Videos
  • Message links

Once you've gathered all of your evidence, send us the offender's username and any service IDs (such as Discord profile IDs), the full details of the incident, and any evidence you have collected via your platform of choice.

All reports are confidential and will not be made public.

SoulSteel Discord

All Noxcrew Network Discords include Mod Mail, an anonymous report bot that lets you privately contact the moderation team with your report.

To make your report against a fellow SoulSteel Discord user for actions they have taken in the Discord:

  • While in the server, click on the ModMail bot at the very top of the member's list and click 'Message' to open a private direct message with them.
  • Message them with your report, adding any attachments or links you want to present to the message.
    • If you're a part of multiple servers with ModMail, it will ask you which server you want to contact.
  • A moderator will contact you to follow up on your report.

SoulSteel Server

The SoulSteel Server is hosted and maintained by Minecraft itself, and as such, Minecraft handles the moderation of the server.

If you wish to report a player for actions they have taken on the server, you can do the following:

Report a player while playing Minecraft

  • Pause the game.
  • Go to the player list on the right side and select the player you want to report.
  • Select the three dots menu and select Report.
  • Select where the incident took place and why you're reporting the player from the dropdown menus.
  • Explain what happened as clearly as possible and then select Report.

Report a player from the Minecraft launch screen

  • Select Play from the launch screen.
  • Go to the Friends menu in the top-right and select Search for players.
  • Search for the player's gamertag or select Recently Played With for suggestions.
  • Select the player and select Report.
  • Select where the incident took place and why you're reporting the player.
  • Explain what happened as clearly as possible and then select Report.

If you have any concerns about a player on the SoulSteel server, please contact Minecraft Support
