The Old Kingdom is getting an overhaul!

The lands between the dungeons of The Old Kingdom have erupted into life, with new friends and foes to encounter and new adventures to undertake. Will you make the grade or get lost in the sands forever?

Grading comes to Old Kingdom Events!

All events in The Old Kingdom now have a grading system rather than a base task to complete. The system works similarly to the Dungeon grading system; the better you do at a specific task, the higher the grade, and the more rewards you earn.

Bloom is back!

The Bloom task has returned to the sands of The Old Kingdom, but with a slight adjustment. Rather than kill the precious flowers of the desert, you need to seek out Spore Pollen in the area to clear the air and make it safe for adventurers to travel in

Seek out the flowers and strike them to be launched into the air, collecting pollen as you do so. The more pollen you collect, the higher your grade at the end of the event!

Speaking of collecting…

The Elemental Mining event gets an update!

The Elementals have always been a little temperamental, but this is getting out of hand!

These mobs are now invincible and cannot be defeated by any means - get too close and they’ll explode, sending shards or rock everywhere! However, the ores they once hoarded are now piercing through the sand, ready to be mined.

Avoid the Elementals and collect as much ore as you can without dying - Port Fortuna is depending on you.

We’ve also had our mages do some magic to prevent regular mods from appearing in zones during events, ensuring you’ll only have to deal with mobs specifically for those events.

Encounters in the desert

It's not just the events that have had an upgrade; you can now find fellow travellers amongst the ruins, beyond the usual rabble of mobs. Are they friend or are they foes? Let’s find out.

Wandering Trader

Rather than be restricted to Port Fortuna, this Trader travels the desert, offering his wares to adventurers who might be in need of a pick-me-up to continue on their quests.

Their trades are often better than those in Port Fortuna, so keep an eye out for them!

Elder Dragon

The brethren of Gubo have found their way to The Old Kingdom!

If you come across them basking in the sun or exploring the depths, speak with them, and they’ll grant you a boon!

But don’t expect them to appear in the same place or even appear at all. Dragons are fickle creatures; sometimes they visit, sometimes they don’t.

The Loot Bandit

Port Fortuna has been having some problems with bandits recently. The most dangerous of all is The Loot Bandit! They’ve been stealing from the supply caches in The Old Kingdom and putting the town at risk of shortages!

If you see him appear, take him down and recover the loot he stole!

Warbands

Sick of being picked off one by one, some of the smarter residents of The Old Kingdom have banded together against the army of adventurers streaming from Port Fortuna!

Wandering the sands and attacking as a group, these warbands are a serious threat. Should you see them on the horizon, you have two choices: take them out, or run for your life!

Mysteries in the sands

A new puzzle has appeared in the Camp Site of The Old Kingdom, tempting adventurers to uncover its secrets.

Can you solve the riddle and unlock whatever mysteries lie beyond?
